It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan S Hooton (River Heights, Utah), born in Logan, Utah, who passed away on November 30, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ila Schiess and Ben T. Schiess; her sister Carol Cox; and her grandchildren, Jess Hooton and Nicole Hooton McCormick.
She is survived by: her husband Leo L. Hooton; her children, Kirk Hooton (Lisa), Shelli Vedis (Chris) and Mark Hooton (Terri); and her siblings, Ben Schiess (Marie) and Jenny Smith (Reese). She is also survived by her 6 grandchildren and 7 (soon to be 8) great- grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks must be worn and social distancing observed at all times.
