We bid farewell to John Kirby of Richmond, Utah, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 1, 2025 at the age of 85. John touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Evan Edward Kirby and Doris Sorteberg (Sorteberg); and his siblings, LaMar Kirby and Raeola Holton. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Piper; his sons, Patrick, Evan, Danny (Marianne), Nathan and Scott (Cami); his stepdaughters, Kim (Dan) and Piper (Scott); his siblings, Dwight B. Kirby (JoAnn M.) and Lesa Petersen (Jeff); his son Brian Kirby; his granddaughter Hannah Kirby; and his great grandchild Jace Kirby. He is also survived by 26 grandkids and 20 great grandkids.
Viewing was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM and on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the City Creek Building (150 S 100 E, Richmond, UT 84333).
