He was predeceased by: his parents, Philo Rasmussen and Velma Rasmussen; his former wife Karen Hatch; his siblings, LaVon, Ronald Rasmussen and Jerilyn Despain; and his grandson Clint Philo Rasmussen.
He is survived by: his children, Kardell Rasmussen (Pat), Rachelle Syphrett (Sam), Angela Peterson (Paul), Gayelene Green (Kent) and Jered Rasmussen (Jessica). He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
He is a survivor of COVID that he had from December 2020 into January 2021, which almost took his life.
