He was predeceased by: his parents, Beverly Carpentier and Nathan Carpentier; his sister Shauna Carpentier; and his children, Angela Gee and Jarod Caffey.

He is survived by: his wife Verna Carpentier; his children, Nicole Cole (Chris), Danielle Carpentier (Brad), Cody Carpentier, Hayden Caffey (Sherie) and Chris Caffey (Jaime); and his siblings, Tim Carpentier (Eileen), Terry Carpentier (Kayla), Barbara Johnson (Tony) and Suzie Duffin.
