She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph William and Velma Holindrake Hixson; her spouse Heber Hal Christiansen; her son-in-law William Parsons; and her siblings, Roy, Ralph, Marge, John, Robert, Dorothy, Edna and Josephine.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Ellertson (Larry), Lindon, Karen Parsons (late William), Barbara Stout (Kevin), Joe Christiansen (Pam), Monroe and Robyn Christiansen (Brant Reed); and her sister Leona Ward of Idaho Falls, ID.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
