She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph William and Velma Holindrake Hixson; her spouse Heber Hal Christiansen; her son-in-law William Parsons; and her siblings, Roy, Ralph, Marge, John, Robert, Dorothy, Edna and Josephine.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Ellertson (Larry), Lindon, Karen Parsons (late William), Barbara Stout (Kevin), Joe Christiansen (Pam), Monroe and Robyn Christiansen (Brant Reed); and her sister Leona Ward of Idaho Falls, ID.. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Central Valley 1st Ward Chapel (65 N Main St, Central Valley, UT 84754).
