He was predeceased by: his parents, Reed Blomquist and Virginia Blomquist; his siblings, Phyllis, Phillip, Kathryn, Janet and Alan; and his sisters-in-law, Mignon, Laurel and Sara Lou.

He is survived by: his wife Viola Mae Gledhill; and his children, Mark Blomquist (Dawn), Kevin Blomquist (Kresta) and Shanna Bradford (Dave). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
