He was predeceased by: his parents, Rulon Harvey Nielsen and Mary Fontella Erickson; and his brothers, Merrill and Rex Hartley. He is survived by: his wife Beulah "Bea"; and his sons, Greg (Andrea) and Bruce (Ann). He is also survived by his sons, their wives; 4 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
