She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Rulon and Rebecca May Allen Jones; her children, Marilyn Ortega, Nolan Ortega (Sonny) and Arnold Ortega; her grandsons, Derek Carstensen and Travis Chappell; and her siblings, Audrey DeLeeuw, Colleen Shelley, Gladys Johnson, Remola Woolsey, Juneve Ostberg and Robert Newell Jones.
She is survived by: her former husbands, Nolan Ortega and William "Bud" Torgerson; her children, Nola Mae, Rob Thomasson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Lydia Catherine Ortega of Austin, Deonna of Richfield, Jeff Heath of Richfield, Marla of Richfield, Don Thompson of Richfield, Albert, Marilee Ortega of Spanish Fork, Anita Ortega of Oregon, Juliann, Carl Hadden of Orem, Yvette, Carstensen of Watford City, Bertha and Roland Laird of Cedar City; and her siblings, Allen, LaWana Jones, Iris Brinkerhoff of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Carrie Davis of Eureka, California, Maretta Smith of San Diego, California, Verna, Ralph Rollins of Roy, Rula Goniotakis of Alaska, Stanley Jones of Iowa, Gary and JoEllen Jones of West Jordan. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
