He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Melvin Hooper and Olive Newby; and his brothers, Alfred Hooper and Jay Hooper. He is survived by: his wife Norma; his children, Roy Dean (Teresa), Sheila Hansen (Roland) and Elaine Damron (Steve); and his siblings, Shirley Rose and Merrill Hooper. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
