He is survived by: his wife Jane Hansen; his children, Katie Burdett (James), Julie Anderson (Tom), Kelly Trythall (Bill), Charles Gubler-Coons (Angela), Mary Kaye Coons, Jamie Anderson, Caroline Fields (David) and Andrew Coons (Jillian); and his sister Jan Van Boerum. He is also survived by his 27 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
