With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edward Lee Helquist of Richfield, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 22, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Edward Lee's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Edward Lee has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Leo and Laura Vest Helquist. He is survived by: his wife Janice Platt of Richfield; and his children, Darcie Slade (Russell), Lisa Huntsman (Lee), Windy Mcllrath (Jim), Trina Helquist, Dustin Helquist (Jamie) and Ryan Helquist (Melanie). He is also survived by 22 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Richfield 2nd Ward Chapel (700 W 200 S, Richfield, UT 84701). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
