He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Marvel Anderson (Tig) and Darlene Thompson; his wife Dee Ann; his children, Westton Sterling (Nour), Karissa Lee (Mike), Alexis Michelle Shaw (Haden) and Adam Michael Shaw (Emily); his sibling Leslie Anderson Dickenson (Lloyd); his grandchildren, Mike of Jeremy, AJ, Kayla, Dallen, Lydia, Raneem, Liam, Ruger, Zach, Emma, Tony and Remington; and his great grandchildren, Shea, Oakley and Kove.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, June 29th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Open House.
