Merle Whitlock Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merle Whitlock in Redmond, Utah, who passed away on July 6, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Charles Mickelsen and Christy Marie Breinholt; her husband Curtis LaMar Whitlock; and her siblings, Marcella Hansen, Que Mickelsen, Derreld Mickelsen, Veone Kelson and Colleen Nielsen.
She is survived by: her children, Brad (Pam), Lisa (Brian), Murray and McRae (Kristin); and her brothers-in-law, LeVoy Whitlock (Shirley) of Helena, MT and Shelby Noland of Scipio, UT.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Merle made beautiful quilts that provided warmth and comfort not only to her family, but to hundreds of others as she donated them to many charities, including Primary Children's Hospital.
