He was predeceased by : his parents, Nels Thomas and Hazel Della Carson Peterson; his former life partner Gladys May Olsen of Gunnison du; his daughter Carolyn Pickett; his stepdaughter Sandra Hansen; and his siblings, Belva Knorr (Joseph), Tommy Karol Peterson, Lola Dee Nielsen (Wesley), Jack Wesley Peterson (LuAnn), DeVonna Roberts (Evan) and Clemont Peterson (Ramona).
He is survived by : his wife Claudette; his children, Carlos Peterson (Bonnie), Lorraine Peterson, Alan Peterson (Susie), Salina, Ann Baker (Barry) of Menifee, CA and Mike Peterson of Las Vegas, NV; his son-in-law Preston Pickett; and his stepchildren, Diana Brian (Mike), Sherrie McMullin (Bruce), Craig Payne (Keri) and Kim Payne (Suzanne). He is also survived by 61 grandchildren, 110 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
