She was predeceased by: her husband L. Glenn Karren; her parents, Enrique Barrera Alvarado and Andrea Chavez Duenas; and her brothers, Arturo and Salvador Duenas.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn (Melanie), Lynda (Duane), Melissa (Dan) and Dana (Terilyn). She is also survived by her eighteen grandchildren, and forty-six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
