He is survived by: his wife Constance Clegg; his children, Stevens Brett Nelson of Provo, Bradley Call Nelson of Chico, California and Candacee McKnight (Jason) of Provo, Utah; his brother Joseph Briant Nelson (Carol); his grandchildren, Brayden Andrew McKnight (Cassandra), Tyler Reed McKnight (Amanda), Logan Stevens McKnight (Payton), Breanna McKenzie Nelson, Christopher Jason McKnight, Riker Paul McKnight, Chad Decker McKnight and Adley Luna Nelson; and his great grandchildren, Marshall Allen McKnight and Jackson Paul McKnight.
