He is survived by: his wife Mele Mohulamu Iongi; his children, Asinate Heimuli (Penisimani), Siosifa Fainga'a Folaumahina (Jaleen), Saia Folaumahina (Sinai), Siaosi Folaumahina (Olivia), Petelo Folaumahina (Laura) and Luseane Usakilakeba (Petaia); and his siblings, Mataika Moana, Hekesi Laukau, Polohiva Finau, Sosefo Tu'itupou, Nunia Mafi, Tupou Feli and Pauline Hu'akau. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 50 great-grandchildren.
