She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Seniour Bennett and Mary Ann Adams Bennett; her former husband Bruce Topham; her son Jesse Topham; her brothers, Alfred Bennett and Gary Bennett; and her granddaughter Emily Topham.

She is survived by: her children, Amy, Jeremy, Lisa and Cody; her sister Colleen Larsen; and her former husband Leonard Vreeken. She is also survived by 10 Grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.

“I am a resident at Cascade Gardens Apartments where Ruth lived. I have known her for 7 years. She has always had a bright smile and a hello for me. I loved her sweet laugh. Ruth will be missed by the residents at Cascade. She was a big part of our lives. She is now out out of pain and with her family. BIG HUG, LaRaine Christensen”
