He is survived by: his wife Sonja Johnson; his daughters, Ramona Fonnesbeck (Robert), Sheila Hone, Carma Johnson, Melissa Johnson, Monica Woods (Chad) and Ursula Swan (Matthew); and his siblings, Susan Johnson, Bruce Johnson (Kristi), Glenn Johnson (Debi), Kenneth Johnson (Dianne), Rebecca Johnson and Lee Johnson (Jana). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
