Though Richard George may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Richard George touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his mother Josephine Wood Fairbanks; and his siblings, Lynn (Carol) and Pat (Bob). He is survived by: his father Lynn Reed Fairbanks, Jr.; his wife Janice Burton; his brothers, Fred (Carrol) and Mark (Janice); and his children, Adam (Melissa), Jon (Deborah), Doug (Jen) and Amy (Jeff). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, April 26th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at 303 W 3700 N, Provo, UT 84604.
