He was predeceased by: his parents, Wanda Peterson and Ray Afton Burt Sr.; his wife Maida Jean; and his son-in-law Thomas Holly Maxfield. He is survived by: his daughters, Vicki Ware (Lynn), Patti Maxfield (Rick Koster) and Bobbi Gessell (Scott). He is also survived by ten grandchildren and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Olpin Family Mortuary (494 S 300 E St, Pleasant Grove, UT 84062). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lindon City Cemetery (600 N 200 E St, Lindon, UT 84042).
