She is survived by: her significant other Robert Russell Hicken; her close friend Robert R. Hicken; her children, Michael L. Mathews, Lisa K. Mathews Price (Mark), Robert R. Hicken, Jr., Wendy L. Stumph Durham (Eric), Linda Hicken Messick and F. Randolph Stumph (Natalie); her brother Jesse Martell Burr; and her cousin Reece McFadden (Jeanne). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
