He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer De and La Vera Ketchum De; his wife Betty; his son-in-law Tony Winder; his grandchildren, Wendy Winder and Joshua Sorenson; and his great grandchild Addison Christensen.

He is survived by: his children, Dennis Jacksonville (Steffi), Linda Winder of Orem, Maxine Jacobson (Boyd) of Lindon, David (Andrea) of Orem and Don (Cec) of Lindon. He is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 59 great-grandchildren, and 8 great-great-grandchildren.
