He was predeceased by: his parents, Myra Asay and George Kerry Allphin; his wife Ann Stanford Hopkins; his son Steve; his grandchildren, Billy Allphin and Megan Bates; and his great grandchild Ryan Jensen.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Ann Petersen (Scott) of Riverdale, Susan Ostler (Donnell) of Highland, Joe Allphin (Marcie) of Lindon, Will Allphin (JoDeann) of Las Vegas, Julie Dulaney (Jamie) of Greensboro, Mark Allphin (Edna) of Springville and Kathryn Watters of Provo Utah.
