She was predeceased by: her parents, John Fish Shafer and Edna May Bankhead Shafer. She is survived by: her children, Sharlit, Lynn (Linda), Dennis (Kristen), Janet (Bruce), Elizabeth and Mary. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
