She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Melisendro Maestas and Simodocea Jaramillo Maestas; and her husband Lynn T. Wride. She is survived by: her children, Sherilynn Wisnom (Peter), Lance Wride (Tewa), Trent Wride (Amber), Shelley Heaton (Rodney), Shawn Wride (Alesha) and Troy Wride (Sheryl); and her friend Margene Wride Snow. She is also survived by her 27 grandchildren and spouses, and 23 great-grandchildren, as well as her sister-in-law.
