He was predeceased by: his father James Weir Sumner; his mother-in-law Lela; and also, Sue and Darwin. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Wyatt Brownson; his sisters, Pam and Amanda; his wife Teresa; and his close friend Jim. He is also survived by his wife, children, mother, father-in-law, sisters, sister-in laws, brother-in laws, nephews, niece, and best friend as well as the many extended family.
