He was predeceased by: his parents, James Christian Andersen and Annie Belle Gillespie; his siblings, Gary Christian Andersen, Steven Craig Andersen and Toy Louise Pretasky; and his sons, Joshua Solen Andersen and Trevor Randolf Andersen.
He is survived by: his former wife Kathryn Garven Rector; his children, James Hartman Andersen (Chelsea), Kaerlig Troy Hurtado (David), David Rector Andersen Varvarigos, Jacob Andersen Varvarigos and Kathryn Rand Harmon (Tanner); and his granddaughter Julianna Louise Kupper (John). He is also survived by six siblings, 20 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
