He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Barnett and Elvera Barnett; his daughters, Cindy Debenham and Kathy Barnett; his siblings, Calvin Barnett and Joyce Smith; and his son-in-law Bill Ward.
He is survived by: his wife Lillian Eva Barnett; his children, Jim Barnett Jr., Dean Barnett, Lisa Barnett, RaNae Ward (Bill), Steffanie Hancock (Aaron), Mitchell Barnett (Shelby) and Matthew Barnett; and his pets, Daisy, Rosie, Niles and Beau. He is also survived by his grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
