He is survived by: his great-grandparent James A Barton; his parents, Samuel Preston Barton and Ila Mae Fowers; his wife Mary; and his children, Rod (Lisa) of Logan, Kevin (Janet) of Idaho Falls, Brett (Lisa) of South Jordan, Michele of Taylorsville and Kyle of Denver. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
