Lightner and Dianna; his siblings, Ursula Tharp (Jay), Jessie (Terrie), Patty Hipsley (Michael), George Exline, Christina Rawson-Newlin and Russell Lightner Jr.; his stepfather James; his nephew Dylan Ludt; and his grandparents, Dorothy, Harry Dotson, Herbert Wedge, Howard and Georgina Lightner. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews, along with a great niece and nephew.
