He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerald Emmett Christiansen and Rebecca Henderson Nelson; his brother Jerry; and his wives, Marie and Barbara Jean Oldham.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Larsen (Larry), David Christiansen (Jolene) and Stephen Christiansen (Jennifer). He is also survived by his 12 grandchildren, and his 21 great-grandchildren.
