He was predeceased by: his parents, George Carpenter and Doris Carpenter; and his siblings, Harold Carpenter and Jan Farrell. He is survived by: his sons, Cleve John Carpenter and Thomas Carpenter (Jamie); his brother Bill Carpenter (Jane); and his brother-in-law Dave Farrell. He is also survived by cousins and nephews.
