He was predeceased by: his parents, Orson Earl and Ruby West Hawkins; his daughter Carol; and his sister Earlene Muirbrook. He is survived by: his wife Julia Ann Strasburg Hawkins; his children, Colleen, Michael and Jeffrey (Kimberli); his grandchildren, Alan, Amy, Kaitlyn and Brecka; his great grandchildren, Paisley and Elsie; and his brothers, Lloyd (Beverly), Clyde (Lorraine) and Reed.
