She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Alderson Middleton, Sr. and Esther Quilter; and her husband Lyle Porter. She is survived by: her children, Gary Porter (Sheryl), Lanny Porter (Ruth), Lorraine, Clegg (Gordon), Evan Porter (Laurie), Kristine, Baxter (Larry) and Brian Porter (Liz). She is also survived by 28 grandchildren, 66 great-grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
