He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren E. Peay and LaRue Evans Peay; his son Frank Dee Peay; his significant other Alene Burningham Peay; his daughter-in-law JoAnn; his sisters, Darleen Hanson, Ladean Clark and Judy Monk; and his grandson Kevin Deloss Peay.
He is survived by: his daughter Konni Newman; his brother Bobby Peay (Helen); and his grandchildren, Marc, Cherri, Brian, JoDee, Jason, Shannon, Kyle and Shaylee. He is also survived by 30 Great Grandchildren, and 1 Great-Great Granddaughter.
When his son Dee needed a kidney, DeLoss was able to donate one of his.
