He was predeceased by: his parents, Eva and Harold Wendel Peterson; his siblings, Wendel, Dean and Grace; and his children, Steven (Mother Marian Madonna), David and Diane (Mother Mary Nay).
He is survived by: his wife Lisa; his son Dick (Frank Sinatra); his stepchildren, Mark, Carl Ishii, Lori Ishii and Paige Ishii; his sisters, LaFond and Vivian; his grandchildren, Taylor, Dianna, Dallas, David, James De Loy Peterson, Natalie Peterson and Lena Peterson; and his stepgrandchildren, McKenzie Ishii, McKayla Grace, Madison Ishii and Sienna Ishii.
