He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Tingey and Ivy Tingey; and his son Mike. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Dursteler; his grandchildren, Granchildrenacoompanied, Carrie Toolson, John Madsen and Introduced; and also Cal Tingey.

“It was a blessing to associate with Dale and Family over the years. I was involved with him in CES and we were in the same ward for years where I had the blessing of being the Tingey Bishop. It was a pleasure to watch him bless others in the ward and in his role as Director of American Indian Services. He loved giving. His memory will live on as a dedicated follower of the Lord and as an example of doing good continually.”
