She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Leroy Young and Alice Dorthea Tucker Young; her husband Sherman Scott Bowen; and her siblings, Wilford Young, Ruth Baum, Dorothy Folk, Melvin Young, Lavon Richards, Donna Tanner, Mary Blackburn and Jay Young.
She is survived by: her children, Nathan Bowen (Treasa), Suzanne Jones (Paul), Shannon Fawson (Eric), Brendan Bowen (Diann), Heather Bowen, Jeanne Bowen, Jonathan Bowen (Ann) and Michael Bowen (Devyn); and her sister LuDean Hutchison (Dean). She is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
