He is survived by: his parents, Aldon Thompson and Ora Thompson; his children, Aldon (Holly), Duran (Melissa), Jana Rae (Kenneth Nelson), Pat (Jennifer) and Nathan (Kathryn); his wife Tyra; and his siblings, Jon, Richard, Aldene, David, Henry and Rose Ann. He is also survived by his children, 21 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren.
