Alan Glen Applegarth Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Glen Applegarth of Providence, Utah, born in Ogden, Utah, who passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Obrien Applegarth and Olive Annie Harvey Applegarth; his wife Carole Sue Checketts Applegarth; his brothers, Boyd L. Applegarth and Monte Burl Applegarth; and his siblings-in-law, Willard Craig Checketts, Paul Robert Clarke, John Clarence Cummins and Gloria Gay Checketts Cummins.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Alan Applegarth (Shauna) and Shauna Sue Jensen (Val); his sister Dixie Applegarth Clarke; and his grandchildren, Daniel Applegarth (Heidi), Keresa Walker (Shane), Valishia Hawkins, Kirsten Taeger (Stephan), Anjillica Navarro (Adam), Katelynd Blake (Benjamin), Braydon Jensen, David Applegarth (Katie), Myriah Jensen, Shanelle Larsen (Nick) and Shaunese Luthy (Marc). He is also survived by forty great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Humanitarian Aid Fund for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or the Intermountain Foundation at Logan Regional Hospital.
