She was predeceased by: her parents, Janet Frankie and Roy Wilford "Bud" Hurst; and her siblings, Rick, Mike Hurst and Denise Hurst.

She is survived by: her children, Shane, Liz Carter of Colorado and Cody Carter of Utah; her brother Shawn Hurst; her sisters-in-law, Julie and Toni Hurst; and her granddaughters, Mikale, Tabitha and Alexis Carter. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
