It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sally Garcia of Price, Utah, born in San Luis, Colorado, who passed away on March 29, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edurado Vigil and Crusita Mondragon Vigil; her husband Cecilio Garcia; her children, Eddie Garcia (Mary Alice) and Vivian Garcia; her grandsons, Alex Alcon, Jr. and Adam Gonzales; and her sister Stella Archuleta.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Jean Stevens (Mel) of Virginia, A. K. A, Lynda Gonzales (Louie), Lucy Jefferson (Elliott), Cecil Garcia (Maria) and Cecilia Sims (Lebaron); her sister Louise Valdez; and her caregivers, Brooke, Dalia, Kya, Rachael, Natasha, Eucharistic Ministers, Marilyn and Juanita. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:50 PM and on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM. A vigil service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Mitchell Funeral Home (233 E Main St, Price, UT 84501). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Notre Dame de Lourdes Catholic Church (210 N Carbon Ave, Price, UT 84501).
