He was predeceased by: his parents, John Henry Mills and LaUna 'Daisy Bradley; his wife Doris Colleen Asay; his grandsons, Jeffery Wayne Powell and Buddy Ray Mills; and his sons-in-law, Kent Simms and Shawn Powell.
He is survived by: his children, Terrie Mills, Connie Simms (late Kent), Billie Jean Powell (late Shawn) and Bret Mills (Anita). He is also survived by two nephews and one niece; two sisters-in-law and two brothers-in-law.
