He is survived by: his close friend Dick Jones; his children, Paul and Alice; his brother Edward Julius (West Virginia); his children, Andy D. Schmidt of Price, UT, Alan R. Schmidt (Starr) of Colorado Springs, CO and Amy L. Peters (Jeff) of Price, Utah; his grandchildren, Bryce Schmidt, Alex Schmidt, Jeffery Peters and Catherine Westers; and his great grandchildren, Cadence, Lukas, Evie, Nikolas and Adam.
