He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Sitterud and Edna Stilson Sitterud; his wife Lola; his son Randy; his grandson Joey Sitterud; and his great grandchild Aspen Lola Warnick.

He is survived by: his children, Kirk Sitterud (Karen), Gary Sitterud (Susan), Debra Larsen (Rick) and Lesa Gordon (Wade); his daughter-in-law Cathy Sitterud Beardall; and his siblings, Phyllis, Mac, Sue, Connie and Colleen.
