He was predeceased by: his parents, Guadalupe Molinar and Sahara Trejo; his siblings, Romelia Molinar and Oscar Molinar; his niece Nancy Molinar; his nephew Gerado Molinar; his parents-in-law, Candido and Celina Montoya; and his nephew Maddux Rogers.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Montoya and Merlinda Molinar (Vinnie Rondinelli) of Helper; his wife Marcella Molinar; his sister Elva Molinar; his brothers-in-law, Celso and Robert Montoya; his nieces and nephews, Frank Molinar (Selene), Omar Molinar (Laurie), Jessica Reese (Mark), Cindy Molinar, Sigifredo Molinar, Ruby Sanchez (Lalo), Oscar Molinar, Brian Molinar, Jason Molinar, Melissa Rogers (John Axelsen), Mathew Montoya, Michael Montoya (Nicolette), Mason Rogers and Makai Rogers; and his close friends, Salomon Cazares and Vicente Chavira.
