She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Leamon Thompson and Weltha Burnett Thompson; her husband Ted C. Ekker; and her children, Tamara Jill Ekker, Leslie Evonn Ekker, Gilbert Lee Ekker (Emily) and Teddy Neal Ekker. She was also cherished by her four children, six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
