He is survived by: his parents, Alvin Spencer and Fannie Spencer; his wife Janice Poland; his children, Pamela Heaton (Brent), Steve Spencer (Nona), Nathan Spencer (Heidi) and Catherine Zwahlen (Stephen); his siblings, Iris, Theo and Darwin; and his son Chris. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
