He was predeceased by: his son Max Gordon Jones; his brother Charles Eugene Jones; his granddaughter Judy Ryser Jones; his great grandchild Jastin Adams; his great great grandchild Angel Espino; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Jones and Lamar Mathie.

He is survived by: his children, Charles, Robert, John, Terry and Mary; and his sisters, Kathryn Faye Mathie, Veda Merline Jones and LaRae Majors. He is also survived by 4 sons and 1 daughter and their spouses.
